The St. Joseph’s College was established in the year 1884 has now grown steadily and today has more than 8000 students enrolled at undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management and Computer in its four independent colleges namely St Joseph’s College (Arts & Science), St Joseph’s College of Commerce, St Joseph’s Institute of Management Studies, St. Joseph’s Evening College. The St Joseph’s institute of Management studies has been conducting management courses since 1968. The courses were a great help to executives and the degree awarded by the college was well accepted by the Corporates. St Joseph’s Institute of Management studies secured approval from AICTE in 1996 to award management courses to the students. The college is accredited with NAAC ‘A' grade.
